I use SKM. Some of the systems I model use DC drives and motors. AC power is rectified and the motors are driven by DC drives. Around 500 V, 100 HP.
Now that the 2012 NFPA 70E is here I am more concerned about modeling the DC drives and motors. Not sure I can use SKM to query DC arc flash.
Comments or suggestions appreciated.

Do you have the latest revision 6.2.5.8 build 2. It has the DC components and DC analysis?

Per "grapevine" SKM will soon release version 7. Present versions are now 6.5.X.Y, so version 7 implies major changes. DC arc flash is supposed to be included. Please regard this as valid as any rumor, or rumour for those in the commonwealth.

Just went to SKM site, the Version 7.0 enhancement document is there. Sent it to the printer, now for some interesting reading...
