DC is everywhere and the use is growing. NFPA 70E addresses DC in Tables such as: • Table 130.4(E)(b) Shock Protection Approach Boundaries to Exposed Energized Electrical Conductors or Circuit Parts for Direct Current Voltage Systems • Table 130.5(C) Estimate of the Likelihood of Occurrence of an Arc Flash Incident for ac and dc • Table 130.7(C)(15)(b) Arc Flash PPE Categories for dc Systems as well as other areas in the standard. The Question: Do you/your clients place arc flash labels on DC equipment? • Yes • No • It depends • No DC equipment Your experiences are always welcome! |
