What PPE category should I use as a guideline if my Incident Engergy is 7.5 cal/cm2? HRC 2 or HRC 2*? The main difference between the two is that for HRC 2* you need a Balaclava Hood. How do I determine if I need a Balaclava Hood?
Thanks

Hrc 2*
In the 2012 edition of the NFPA-70E there will no longer be a distinction between HRC 2 and HRC 2* so either a face shield + balaclava or a flash suit hood will be required.

Thank goodness they finally made a decision on this subject. Any idea when we will see the 2012 addition?
