We have a number of wind farms and some of the Operators have never had experience with medium voltage (operation of the 34.5kV pad mount transformer disconnect switch), I am tasked to develop "operating procedures" for operating the disconnect switch and also to develop a "training procedure" that can make new operators MV qualified to operate the pad mount transformers. My question is as follows: 1. Does anyone have any links or videos that offer the training? 2. Does anyone know any companies that offer the training? 3. Medium Voltage Training Many companies offer this type of training. e-Hazard.com AVO Brainfiller Shermco are some of the good ones. You need hands on to be MV or HV qualifed so the class must be on site. Check out the guys above. |
