I'm trying to find an easy solution to barricades and boundries. Doesn anyone know if they make a retractable barricade that can be worn on a persons belt to take with them to an area where people may be working and an electrician has to open up a live panel and work inside

Even if you were able to avoid carrying a small roll of barrier rope to the job location with an even smaller belt size reel, what about signage?

Tags for red flagging are acceptable by most clients. I am sure that you can get a custom made sign if you see the need for it.

Roll of barrier tape and a pack of those 3M sticky things. You can put them on anything and they remove easy without leaving a mark.

You must warn the person of the hazard and instruct them what to do.
We recommend that the barrier tape is (1) Red with black letters, (2) States "High Voltage" and (3) Keep Out.

We like the Safe-T-Arms solutions. For visible boundaries and arc flash barriers they have fixed arms as well as magnetic versions. I think their website is safe-t-arms.com, but not sure.
