Section 110.21 (B) is quote above in the title and is required for field applied Arc Flash Labels.

What Tips & Tricks do you guys use to address this requirement for labels installed outside and/or exposed to sunlight? We have been using a clear, UV resistant paint sprayed over the labels. But recently I saw a label we installed in 2022 and it was 75-90% disintegrated!! This makes me second guess this method, looking for other options.

Thanks in advance!

I print indoor labels on a color laser printer and they work fine for that BUT I have the same issue as you with outdoor labels. They fade out very quickly. The label stock isn't the problem, it's the color laser printer ink that doesn't hold up.

I have to get someone to print outdoor labels to a Brady printer. Those hold up very well.
