Post subject:  German Engineer Confused By U.S. Arc Flash Requirements (NFPA 70E)

The following link goes to a forum with an interesting series of posts that started with a German engineer who needed to comply with the requirements of NFPA 70E for arc flash. He wonders about these requirements, whether they are realistic and of any value. A few people respond in an attempt to explain NFPA 70E.

The forum thread is at: http://engineering.electrical-equipment.org/forum/general-discussion/arc-flash-are-nfpa-70e-and-ieee1584-dangerous
