The Eagle-Tribune reports that: "A North Billerica company charged by a federal agency with safety violations at a local construction site is denying wrongdoing and appealing the $81,000 fine against it."
The company is Interstate Electrical Services Corp and OSHA cited them as a result of an arc flash on November 23, 2011. We reported on this OSHA citation earlier this month. OSHA's press release stated that, "OSHA's Andover Area Office determined that the energized electrical panel was not effectively guarded to prevent workers from coming in contact."
