In the U.S. workplace safety means complying with OSHA standards. When it comes to arc flash OSHA does not have any standards. What do you need to do to be in compliance with arc flash codes, standards and regulations? Several articles on the www.ArcFlash.me web site discuss this.

Read about arc flash compliance in the United States in an article called: NFPA 70E Arc Flash Code

Read about compliance with arc flash standards and codes in Canada in an article called: Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z462-12

Both articles talk about the current arc flash standards and how to be in compliance with those standards.
