 Post subject: What does "[70:100]" indicate in Article 100?

Some (but not all) definitions in Article 100 show "[70:100]" after the definition. What does this indicate?

My wild guess is that this is indicates that this term is also defined in NEC.

Yes - Whenever brackets follow text or in this case a definition, it means the material has come word-for-word out of another NFPA document. The number 70 means the material has come from the NEC which is NFPA document number 70. The number after the colon is the section or in this case the article number. Some of the definitions that have come from the In NEC are exact but they do not have to be exact. For example, the term qualified person is a little different in 70E and therefore it is not followed by brackets.
